One-time gifts
Your one-time gift to Elim Society is welcomed and appreciated. Any donation will make a difference in the lives of our residents.
Monthly giving
For only a few dollars per day, you can make an impact. Monthly donations are a convenient way to provide regular support to seniors living in our communities.
Memorial and honour gifts
Donations can be made in memory of loved ones who have passed away or in honour of the achievements of those still with us. Celebrate the life of someone who has personally touched you and ensure their legacy has a positive impact on the lives of others.
Events
Help us by holding your own fundraiser. Proceeds can directly support our communities of care: garage sales, walk-a-thons, barbecues, car washes, corporate fundraisers or seasonal celebrations. We are happy to brainstorm ideas that help you raise funds and awareness for Elim Lethbridge.
Legacy and estate planning
Making a planned gift in your will is a meaningful way to leave a legacy and show support for what you cared about during your lifetime. Charitable bequests help us ensure optimal care for future generations. Memorial landmarks are currently available in the form of common area memorials, and Elim is open to discussing more significant gifts for larger projects such as gardens, public areas, equipment and buildings.
Securities and mutual funds
A donation of securities or mutual fund shares is the most efficient way to give charitably. Capital gains tax does not apply, allowing you to give more.
Invest in our communities
Promissory notes
We value our investor program: a large percentage of Elim’s development has been funded through private investments. Typically, our investments carry a 3 or 5-year term and interest is paid on an annual basis. We currently offer promissory notes at very competitive rates.
